Senior System Integration Engineer

Senior System Integration Engineer

 

Agreement sales have an end-to-end process in CRM and the Services Configurator (SC) tool is used for preparing service agreements. We wish to further support the digitalisation of our processes; however, the old SC tool has reached its end of life, and we have now started a renewal project. 

 

As a result, we are now looking for a Senior System Integration Engineer. In this position you will closely work with key stakeholders when developing and creating needed maintenance information, but also with our software developers, securing that content for new during development phase, active, and old engines include needed parts, labour, rules, and options to work properly. Part of the responsibilities is also to produce documentation for service products.

 

The preferred location for this position is Frauenfeld (Switzerland), but also Triest (Italy) can be considered.

In this position, hybrid working is an option too.

 

Your role and responsibilities

 

As a Senior System Integration Engineer, your work will include the tasks mentioned below. The tasks can also be adjusted based on your individual skills and interests. You’ll be working as a part of a team with diverse expertise. 

 

Responsibilities for the role

 

  • 2-stroke engines sales tool maintenance.
  • Accountability for developing, creating, and managing information on maintenance in close co-operation with product owners, technical experts, and content providers.
  • Accountability for validating and approving product information to be released into our production systems.
  • Participating as subject matter expert for 2-stroke engines in corporate or business driven projects.
  • Providing information for business cases and feasibility studies on specific engines.
  • Monitoring, analysing, and reporting feedback - giving input for functional improvement changes, which will enhance the user experience and satisfaction for our end-users.
  • Provide content for product documentation including manuals, work instructions, bulletins etc.

 

Requirements for the position 

 

  • B.Sc. or M.Sc. in engineering, a technical degree or equivalent knowledge acquired through experience.
  • Excellent general IT skills.
  • Process thinking and structured way of working.
  • Good communication and presentation skills.
  • Good command of English, both oral and written.
  • Good analytical and reporting skills.
  • Service minded attitude and customer-oriented team player in a multicultural environment.

 

As an ideal candidate you might also have…

 

  • Previous experience with quotation tools, SAP, Salesforce and Teamcenter environments seen as an advantage.
  • Knowledge of other languages (in addition to English) is a plus.
  • Passion for new emerging environmental technologies and hands-on experience of engine, automation or auxiliary systems is appreciated.
